Little Robot Stories Book Series

Vicky Steane is an author, artist, and illustrator who loves stories, colour, and imagination. She grew up in London and spent many years creating art in unusual places, including a workshop on Eel Pie Island in Twickenham, where she even renovated and lived on an old boat for ten years. Today, Vicky lives in Glastonbury, surrounded by creativity and nature.

Vicky’s children’s books are magical, funny, and full of heart. They explore the everyday feelings that children experience, from friendship and curiosity to sadness, worry, and feeling a little bit different. Her stories gently show that it’s okay to have big emotions, and that talking, creating, and making friends can help us understand them.

Through warm characters, playful adventures, and imaginative worlds, each Little Robot story explores the natural world around us and encourages children to share their feelings, use their creativity, and see that being yourself is something special.
