Who can enter?

Any young reader aged 5 to 14 is welcome to join the competition.

How do I enter?

Simply fill out the entry form on this page and submit it before the deadline.

What are the prizes?

Winners receive books, gift vouchers, and a chance to be featured on our website.

When is the deadline?

Entries must be submitted by midnight at the end of each month.

Can I enter more than once?

No, you can enter once a month, for monthly prizes!

Who judges the competition entries?

Entries will be judged by our Facebook Community, the author and her publishers, Olympia Publishing.

The 'Create-a-Friend' Challenge

Join in in our Robot Art Challenges and showcase your creativity!

Create unique robot-themed artwork inspired by our stories and characters for a chance to win exciting prizes.

This is your chance to become part of the Little Robot universe! Little Robot is always looking for new friends to join his adventures, and your idea could become an official character.

We challenge you to design your very own robot friend. You can draw, paint, or build it from cardboard boxes and tin foil—let your imagination run wild!

One RULE - NO AI!!!!

How to Enter:

1. CREATE your robot friend.

2. NAME your robot and tell us a little bit about them (what do they like to do?).

3. SHARE your creation! Ask a grown-up to post a photo in our Official Facebook Group.

4. ENTER by submitting the link to your post via our Official Entry Form at the bottom of the page.

The Amazing Prizes!

This competition runs until November 2026, building towards a brand new Christmas book!

• 🏆 Monthly Prize: Every month, Vicky (the author in the pictures!) will choose her favourite new robot. The winner will receive a free digital download of Little Robot Stories Books 1-3 AND their character will be included as a character in a new Christmas story in 2026!

• 🌟 The Grand Prize: Next November, one lucky monthly winner will be chosen as the "grand prize" winner. Their character will be the main co-star of the new Christmas book alongside Little Robot, which will feature ALL of the monthly winners! And their idea for a story could be used!

The 'Little Robot Maker' Challenge (For Ages 8+)

Calling all older kids, coders, and future movie-makers! This one is for you. We're challenging you to create your own short Little Robot video or simple game.

How to Enter:

1. CREATE your video, animation, or game.

2. SHARE it by posting it to our Facebook Group or your own social media (make sure to tag us!).

3. ENTER by submitting the link via our Official Entry Form below.

We'll share the best ones on our website and social media. The most creative entry each month wins £50 of free stuff from the Little Robot store!

The Prompt:

Using your favourite creative tools (like video editing, animation, or simple coding platforms like Scratch) INCLUDING AI, create a short piece based on one of these ideas:

• A 10-30 second video: "Little Robot lands on a new planet and finds something amazing."

• A simple game: "Help Little Robot find his flower."

• An animation: "Little Robot meets your 'Create-a-Friend' character."
