1. About Our AI Characters The interactive characters found on Little Robot Stories and our associated websites (collectively, "the Services") are powered by advanced Artificial Intelligence (AI). While they have distinct personalities, humour, and educational knowledge, they are computer programs, not real people.

2. Educational Accuracy (The "Homework" Clause) Our bots are trained on KS1-3 curriculums to assist with learning. However:

• Not a Teacher Replacement: These bots are designed to be supplementary revision aids, not a replacement for qualified teachers or official textbooks.

• Accuracy Warning: AI can occasionally "hallucinate" or provide incorrect facts. Always check important dates, formulas, or facts with a school textbook. Little Robot Stories accepts no liability for errors in homework or exam preparation resulting from chatbot advice.

3. Character Interaction & Humour

• Fictional Personas: The humour, opinions, and "feelings" expressed by the bots are generated to fit a fictional character profile. They do not reflect the personal views of the company owners.

• Emotional Reliance: Users (especially children) should understand that the robot cannot "feel" emotions. It is not suitable for crisis support, mental health counselling, or serious personal advice.

4. Safety & Parental Supervision

• Age Appropriateness: Our bots are designed to be child-friendly and have safety filters to prevent inappropriate content. However, no filter is 100% perfect.

• Parental Responsibility: If the user is under 13, a parent or guardian must consent to their use of the bot. We recommend parents monitor their child's initial interactions to ensure the "character" style suits their child's needs.

5. Data Privacy in Chat

• Do Not Share: Users should never type their full name, home address, school name, or passwords into the chat window.

• Data Usage: Conversations may be stored specifically to help the robot "remember" the context of the chat and to improve its educational answers. This data is processed via our third-party provider (Chatbase) and is never sold to advertisers.

6. User Conduct We encourage fun and playful interaction, but we have a zero-tolerance policy for:

• Hate speech, bullying, or abusive language directed at the bot.

• Attempts to "jailbreak" the bot (forcing it to say inappropriate things).

• Consequence: We reserve the right to ban users (via IP address) who repeatedly abuse the AI service.
